Now, you can test more than few dozens Linux distros as VMWare Appliances easily.they have it (almost) all, from Archlinux to Zenserver/Zenwalk. just download the appliances, extract and 'play' the vmx files.
now, i'm downloading and trying myself few linux i never heard off...
